Well-known artists such as Ossip Zadkine, Otto van Rees and Hendrik Wiegersma used to have their home there and this weekend the Klein Kasteel in Deurne is once again the temporary residence of an artist; de Neerkantse Roos Sluis is holding an exhibition of her work under the name Old meets Contemporary.
The exhibition was officially opened on Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. by alderman Marinus Biemans, after which the artworks, as well as the Klein Kasteel, could be admired by invited guests. On Sunday, the exhibition is accessible to people who have reserved in advance via the Roos Sluis website.
